You need to have clients that trust you and would either use you to sell their place or to buy one. That means, you either are born into a family who is in the business already and deals in high end property, or you already have people you know who would let you come sell at their firm.
The basic answer is, you start from the ground and build up and build a name for yourself. You don’t start at the top of the ladder. Do you have the money to properly market a property? Probably not.
