I’ve seen a couple of questions come up about portrayals of NYC in the movies and in some answers, people noted that the city has become so “boring” because it is safe and the clutter of tourists have added to something “lost” along with the gentrification of areas that have priced out people.
If it meant getting the “character” back of NYC, would you want it to be like how it was in the late 70s to early 90′s where murders were rampant, drugs were everywhere but people still had their communities and weren’t being pushed out by real estate developers..with less tourism because of it?? Or would you compromise…say, safe city but people still had their homes.
What’s your opinion? 10 points for the most well thought out..and yeah, even if a little of that NYC “snark” took place in it! LOL

No New York has to set an example to the rest of the country and not become corrupt or anything like that again. We should keep it clean and a place where people would want to come visit and not get scared away
