On my way home after trip to convenience store and noticed this. It is
not uncommon to see signs for selling real estate tied or pasted to
lightpoles in Tokyo.

This one is for a 3LDK condominium 10 minutes walk from Shibuya
station. It has been reformed and sounds average price for oldish
building of this size at JPY 49,800,000

Do people advertise things like this in your area?

There were SO MANY electric trolly lines all throughout the bay area, and around the US. They were put in to sell real estate plots back around the turn of the century.
Until GM, Goodyear and Standard Oil teamed up to buy the transit companies, tear up the tracks and burn the street cars.

Realty World – Selzer Realty (716 S. Main St.) sells real estate and manages property. In the same building at the same address are Richard Dipman (Licensed Certified Social Worker) and Rosalie Anchordoguy and Colleen Donovan-Batson (nurse-midwives). We are looking northwest from the Main Street sidewalk.
A detailed 1911 map shows nothing but residences (except for the soda bottling works) along Main Street between South Street and California Street. Fortunately, as this stretch became a business district, many of the lovely old houses were converted to new uses and so preserved.

Oh, it’s legit.

But, it’s not going to happen. Second Life is really just a big scam. They talk about advertising and all that and try to lure in people who will put money into it, thinking they will make money… but in reality the only way to make money is to accommodate the fetish crowd on there……… since they are the only ones on Second Life.

Second Life is pretty much nothing but fetish people.
