Cumberland Gap still bears the name Dr. Thomas Walker gave it when he came over the mountain in 1750 with a party of Virginia real estate speculators. Walker was a wealthy neighbor of Peter Jefferson, father of future president Thomas Jefferson. The journals and maps of Dr. Walker’s trans-Appalachian travels promoted emigration west into Kentucky.

Q&A: How to get a real estate license in Virginia?

Question by FreakyGeeky: How to get a real estate license in Virginia?
I want to get my real estate license in Virginia. The states webpage says I need to complete 60 hours of “principles of real estate” and then take the national and state test. I’m pretty sure this is rather standard in all other states. But when I look online to find courses, it seems everyone is just selling “test prep” courses. Which is all fine and good, but I highly doubt that is for the 60hr requirement. Where can I find the 60hr requirement courses? I would prefer to take them online.
Because its midnight.
